How does the photo quote actually work?

You upload up to six photos of what needs to go, add your contact details, and your estimated price range appears on the page in about fifteen seconds. It's sized against the same published load bands we'd use standing in your driveway, and it tells you what it based the estimate on so you can see whether it read the job correctly.

Is the photo estimate the final price?

It's an estimate, not an invoice. We confirm the exact price with you on-site before anything gets loaded, and if it isn't what you expected you can walk away at no cost. The point is that the on-site number matches what you were already told, which is exactly what a vague starting price can't promise.

Do you charge for the estimate or for coming out?

No. The photo quote is free, there's no call-out fee, and there's no charge if you decide not to go ahead once we've confirmed the price in person.

No hazardous waste (paint, solvents, chemicals, oil, propane tanks), no asbestos or suspected asbestos material, no medical or biohazard waste, no septic or animal waste, and no more than ten tires in a single load. If any of that turns up in your photos we'll flag it and tell you where it can go instead.

How soon can you come?

Same-day is often possible in Oshawa, Whitby, and Courtice if you send photos early in the day. Ajax, Pickering, and Clarington are usually next-day. Uxbridge, Port Perry, and Brock Township are scheduled windows because of the drive. We'd rather book you tomorrow and turn up than promise today and reschedule.

Do you serve all of Durham Region?

Yes — Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Clarington, Uxbridge, Scugog, and Brock Township, including the rural addresses in between. There's no travel surcharge anywhere in the Region; the difference between areas is scheduling, not price.

What it costs

These are ranges, not teaser floors. Every published “from $89” in this industry is the price of the smallest possible job, which is almost never the job you actually have.

Heavy material — concrete, brick, soil, sod, tile, or shingles — is priced by weight rather than load size, because Durham Region charges more than double per tonne to dispose of it. Fridges, freezers, and air conditioners carry a small per-unit handling fee for the refrigerant. Full pricing details.
