Today is realistic. A pile at grade in Oshawa, Whitby south of Taunton, or Courtice. Photos in the morning. One visit, published bands: minimum $109–$169, quarter $209–$309, half $379–$489, full trailer $629–$799, before HST.
Tomorrow, or a window. Ajax and Pickering most days. Brooklin if the morning filled. Anywhere north — Port Perry, Uxbridge, Brock — always a booked slot. Same crew, same price. The thing that changes is when the trailer leaves the yard.
Send photos. The quote says whether today exists. A phone call that starts with "can you come now" without pictures is not a booking.
Where today actually happens
Oshawa is home base. Same-day is most common here, except the last two weeks of August and April when student houses eat the calendar.
Whitby is the next town over. South of Dundas and most of Brooklin behave like Oshawa. Tight driveways still work; they just take photos of the access, not just the pile.
Ajax is twenty minutes west. Same-day happens when a truck is already headed that way. Do not plan a lease-end Sunday around it. One to two days is the honest default.
Pickering and rural Claremont are farther west. City-side can be next-day. Rural is a window.
Courtice is a short run east. Bowmanville and Newcastle are usually a scheduled day, not a 2 p.m. surprise.
What same-day still cannot take
Speed does not change the load rules. Paint, fuel, propane, and asbestos stay off the trailer. What we cannot take is the same list at 9 a.m. as on a Thursday window.
A couch the municipality would collect for free is still a curb question. Check the large-item lookup before you pay anyone to rush a single item the City will take next week.
