A heavily packed three-bedroom house is commonly four to eight full-trailer trips, depending on how much is paper and fabric versus genuinely heavy material. Paper is the one that surprises people — a hallway of boxed documents and magazines can weigh more than the same volume of furniture, which pushes it toward weight-based fill pricing rather than a straight volume rate.

What we won't touch, and why
Same rules as every job, just more likely to come up here: hazardous waste, asbestos, and medical waste all need a different handler than a junk trailer, and heavily cluttered homes are exactly where they show up — old medication, expired chemicals, pest activity, or structural damage hidden behind years of stacking.
None of that is a reason to stop. It's a reason to flag it and route it properly as we find it, rather than treating it as a problem for you to solve first. The one exception is anything that's an active safety hazard — a gas smell, a floor that isn't sound, exposed wiring — where we stop, tell you plainly, and point you to who needs to see it before we touch anything else.
Coordinating from a distance
Most calls we get about a job like this aren't from someone standing in the house. They're from an adult child two hours away, a landlord who inherited a unit's contents, or someone who found the previous tenant's belongings still there.
None of that requires you on-site. Photos start the quote the same way they do for anyone, a key left with a neighbour or in a lockbox gets our crew in, and updates go by text as we go — including a check-in before anything gets hauled if something looks like it should be kept rather than tossed. If the property is in Uxbridge, Scugog, Brock, or Clarington, plan for a scheduled window rather than a same-day slot — northern Durham addresses are booked ahead, same as any other job out there.
